How To Obtain Your Hearing Protection
The process is in fact quite simple! The first step is to arrange a consultation with one of our Hearing Instrument Practitioners. During your consultation, the Practitioner will:
1. Discuss the different types of Hearing Protection available.
2. Carefully assess and select the best suited type of hearing protection to meet the clients needs.
3. Allow the client to select the style [canal tips (small), half shell (medium), full shell (large)].
4. Allow the client to choose a color (clear, flesh tone, blue, red, green, purple, yellow etc.).
5. The Hearing Instrument Practitioner will then take an ear mold impression of the clients ear which will be sent out to the manufacturing laboratory.
6. Manufacturing process generally takes 3 to 7 business days. When the custom hearing protection ear molds are ready, the Practitioner will call the client to arrange a 'fitting'. During the fitting process, the Practioner will educate the wearer on how to use the product and how to properly maintain the product.
